There are certainly a couple of good examples of aftermarket tuned models from the Maranello based car maker. Others, not so much. This Mansory 4XX Siracusa balances on the edge of being gnarly and completely awesome. It’s just that simple: you’ll either love it or hate it.

This is Mansory’s proposal for the Ferrari 488 is called the 4XX Siracusa. It offers a ‘unique’ carbon bodywork and 790hp performance level from the twin-turbo V8 powerplant. Mansory have tuned the twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8 engine into making 778hp and 561lb ft (870Nm) of torque. This is achieved by some clever engine management – and a fully custom aftermarket performance exhaust system.

This is where it gets ugly by our opinion. The vehicle can achieve a sprint of 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 2.9 seconds. which is, well, not that of an improvement – if compared to the stock vehicle; it can accelerate in 3 seconds flat. In true fairness, nobody will notice that in 98% of driving situations that don’t include involve penis measurement type of beer induced talk. The Mansory 4XX Siracusa tops out at 205mph (330km/h).

The vehicle comes with an upgraded and aggressive exterior looks: it features several winglet type of carbon fiber additions, a big rear wing and a lot of carbon fiber. It’s all matched with a set of aftermarket wheels measuring 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear respectively.  The wheels are wrapped with 255/30/20 and 325/25/21 high-performance tires. A set of lowering springs drops the car’s center of gravity by 20mm.

For the interior, it seems the tuner have opted to match everything in yellow. It looks odd to say the least, but we know there will be plenty of owners that will enjoy this type of customization added. Clearly, Mansory gives the option to their customers to further refine the interior looks and give it a more personal appeal overall.

Is this enough to cough up (what is presumably) a hefty amount to advance the exterior and achieve this upgrade in performance, remains to  be seen. The car will have its debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and we’ll keep updating this article with new info &  photos when’s it released.
