Whether you’ll agree on this with me or not; the Maserati Granturismo is one of the best sounding cars out there today. You won’t be able to hear such an engine extravaganza going forward. It’s all about rad eco friendly machines. It’s all about keeping nice with the trees and animals now. The growl of a naturally aspirated V8 engine like this we’ll only be able to mention in a nostalgia filled conversations with our kids and gran kids some day. So, bask in it. Enjoy it as much as you can.
The standard version of the Maserati Granturismo has a 4.2l V8 engine designed and developed in conjunction with Ferrari. It produces 405 PS (298 kW; 399 hp) and it is mated to an automatic ZF gearbox six-speed transmission. The car is a GT (Grand Tourer) that emphasizes comfort in harmony with speed and driver-enjoyment. The vehicle can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 5.0 seconds, making it a rather fast and seriously impressive sounding Gran Tourer then.
This Maserati Granturismo is equipped with a set of PUR Wheels to further accentuate its aggressive lines. These have some painted accents that flow well with the exterior of the vehicle, creating a nice and interesting color combination there. The Lamborghini Aventador is by many in a class on its own. While the competition, such as the Ferrari LaFerrari or Mercedes-AMG GT have their perks, the Aventador is one of the most interesting looking vehicles currently out there today. It comes with a gorgeously sounding V12 engine displacing 700 horsepower powering all four wheels, all thanks to a single-clutch seven-speed semi-automatic transmission. The Aventador can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 2.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest vehicles in production today.
For some, the extravagant looks of the Aventador are not enought. Same principle of thought was acquired by this owner who decided to give his Aventador a bit more aggressive look – if that’s even possible.
This Aventador now comes with a set of futuristic looking PUR Wheels and a complete PUR Aero kit installed, giving it a more unique appearance and looks. The vehicle is definitely stunning and aggressive, all thanks to the abundance of carbon fiber added, where the work done by SR Auto Group on this vehicle looks pristine in every area. Check the final look of this Lamborghini Aventador build in the photoshoot we have added in high-quality right below.
A Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is a magnificent machine, combining lightweight design with impressive horsepower, all resulting in breathtaking performance. While it may be on the other side as age comes along, the Huracan who succeeded it is just a logical step in the direction of fine tuning an already impressive machine. The Gallardo thus still poses a big challenge to mos sports cars out on the roads today and it surely looks good. On the other hand the wrinkles are visible.
Lamborghini Gallardo has been out there for a while. Powered by a 5.2L V10 engine it always packs a great punch in the entry level (yeah I said that) super car world. Not that we can take anything from this high-performance car, as it does poise a great choice for owners worldwide. The Superleggera edition is powered by the same engine which displaces 562 horsepower and can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 3.4 seconds. With carbon fiber used extensively inside and out to reduce weight to just 1,340 kg (2,954 lb) this is the lightest road-going Lamborghini in the range.
This is cue for a company like PUR Wheels to create an aftermarket custom set of forged wheels for the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and give it back its youth right away. These PUR RS05 wheels come in sizes of 19×8.5 and 19×11 front and rear respectively and are finished in a Gloss Black Diamond finish. The end result is visible in the media gallery below, so take a look at the detailed shoot of this beauty right below.
PUR Wheels have created something they’ve been planning for years; a carbon fiber body kit for one of the world’s best supercars adorned with a set of their wheels. After years of planning and engineering, they have finally created their first aerodynamics package, which kit is made entirely from 2×2 carbon fiber and features oem-like fitment. We didn’t actually get any more detailed information about this, but here’s what we did learn.
PUR Aerodynamics Package consists of carbon fiber front lip, carbon fiber rear decklid and carbon fiber rear spoiler. All seamlessly installed on a gorgeous black Lamborghini Aventador LP700 showcasing a clean and elegant solution for the Italian supercar. Finally, a set of PUR RS02 wheels in Monaco Gold was installed, giving that perfect contrasting effect we’ve grown to love over the years.
We’ll definitely drop more information about the PUR Aerodynamics Package when we get it, but until then check out the media gallery right below.
