The standard version of the Maserati Granturismo has a 4.2l V8 engine designed and developed in conjunction with Ferrari. It produces 405 PS (298 kW; 399 hp) and it is mated to an automatic ZF gearbox six-speed transmission. The car is a GT (Grand Tourer) that emphasizes comfort in harmony with speed and driver-enjoyment. The vehicle can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 5.0 seconds, making it a rather fast and seriously impressive sounding Gran Tourer then.

This Maserati Granturismo is equipped with a set of PUR Wheels to further accentuate its aggressive lines.
