Mansory Lamborghini Aventador by Frederic Schlosser
Italian Car Fans, here’s a real treat for you today! We have the opportunity to show you the Mansory Lamborghini Aventador photoshoot by Frederic Schlosser. Mansory is a well know modified of high end cars and now we have their customisation of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 super-sports car to admire!
As Mansory states: “The series version of the Lamborghini already makes opulent use of the ultralight and high-strength material carbon fibre. And MANSORY continues this use as the main element of its bodywork components. Every single element of the MANSORY aerodynamic design is manufactured to perfect finish quality in the prepreg-autoclave process and fitted snugly into place on the vehicle.”
They’ve done quite a few things to the exterior of the vehicle, making it more aggressive with a widened body (for about 40 millimetres in width on the front axle and an impressive 50 millimetres on the rear axle), making it generate even more downforce and quite interesting looks. This is possible with thanks to a newly designed front body incorporating an optimised air inlets for improved ventilation of the front coolers, new front lip and its proprietary daytime driving lights.
Newly designed side sill sets are also fitted. These steady the airflow between the axles and, thanks to built-in channels, direct additional cool air to the drive unit and the rear brake system. The diffuser integrated into the new rear apron stabilises the rear at high speed and, in connection with the enlarged rear wing, produces contact pressure at the rear axle. The body package is completed by exchanging the roof and engine-compartment covers with carbon-fibre elements.
Mansory handled the wheel department as well. This was done with ultralight forged rims with carbon-fibre inlays in the sizes 9.0 x 20 and 13.0 x 21 with tyres in the sizes VA 255/30 ZR20 and HA 345/25 ZR21.
As Mansory states, not all was directed at making the looks better, they were attached to the idea of getting even more performance out of an already powerful and fast car. An optimised engine-management system and a high-performance exhaust system now give the car 754 PS / 555 kW at 8,300 rpm and 750 Nm at 6,000 rpm, allowing for the Aventador to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in only 2.8 seconds. With a top speed of 355 km/h it is quicker than with the basic vehicle.
Wide variety of interior customization and trim options have been done. Treated leather, custom stitching, non-slip aluminium pedals and real carbon-fibre components are the norm in the interior. Quite a package! Make sure to check Frederic Schlosser Photography on Facebook and see what this talented guy does for a living! Amazing content there! Now onto the photos!
